THE GUINNESS STOREHOUSE is one of Dublin’s leading tourist attractions.
Just last year, over 1.6 million people visited to take in a little history about the black stuff and, of course, enjoy a pint.
As anyone who has visited the Guinness Storehouse will know, visitors are invited to pull their own pint and are rewarded with a certificate for their efforts.
But as it turns out, they have a fairly liberal interpretation of what constitutes “a perfect pint”.
Earlier this evening, Lonely Planet editor Megan Eaves shared a priceless photo of her aunt Jane Soyka’s visit to the Guinness Storehouse.
Soyka, who hails from New Mexico, visited the Guinness Storehouse during a trip to Dublin a few years ago and was awarded a certificate for “pouring the perfect pint of Guinness”.
Despite the pint being, er, a little unconventional.
Ah perfect.
Eaves explained to DailyEdge.ie that the family were reminded of the honour thanks to Facebook’s On This Day feature.
Would still drink it, tbh.
